Every year, numerous pets suffer during natural disasters. Also many times, the pets are not united with their owners as they cannot recognize the pets due to lack of appropriate identification. Therefore, to promote the importance of pet care, pet first aid and proper identification methods of the pets among pet owners, American Red Cross has labeled the month of April as the pet first aid awareness month.
